Supporting Medical Education for Gaza’s Future
Connecting Hands is proud to support a strategic project that aims to transform Gaza's healthcare system by empowering its future doctors. We are fundraising in collaboration with the UK-based charity, Global Relief Trust (GRT), to make this vision a reality.

A Powerful Partnership
With funding from the Government of Pakistan, and in partnership with Doctors of Rahman, GRT, and Pakistan’s largest NGO, Al Khidmat, this project provides Gazan medical students with tuition, travel, and living expenses to complete their medical education in Pakistan.

The Urgent Need
Gaza’s education and healthcare sectors are facing a crisis of unprecedented scale, with significant damage to infrastructure and the loss of invaluable human resources. In education, 56 academic and administrative staff have been lost, 1,500 employees have gone without salaries for over a year, and 17,000 students have been forced to abandon their studies. The healthcare sector is equally devastated: of 2,500 medical students, only 1,600 remain contactable, while 400 are believed to have been martyred. This underscores the urgent need to rebuild and sustain these critical systems, ensuring the survival and empowerment of those vital to Gaza’s future.
