Khashim's flood appeal Ramadan Fundraiser

KU Khashim Uddin is raising money for Changing Futures
Khashim's flood appeal Ramadan Fundraiser

My story

Last year I supported Bangladesh's through the flood appeal, this Ramadan I have decided to support those again who are still affected by the aftermath of the floods, those who have been displaced and those who need emergency cataract surgery.

I will be hosting a Ramadan bazar on the last 10 days of Ramadan at Whiteman road mosque to raise funds for those who truly need our support, please come along and support and give in this blessed month

Just as Bangladesh recovers from Cyclone Remal, which impacted 4.6 million people and destroyed 35,000 houses, the northeastern region has been hit by flash flooding. 1.25 million people have been affected, with more than 30,000 people seeking shelter, according to early estimates. The situation is predicted to worsen, with the MET department forecasting heavy rain.

Global Relief Trust have deployed their Dhaka and Sylhet teams to help with rescue and relief efforts to provide emergency aid to the needy.
