Sadaqah Jariyah for our brother Ashfaq - BOBS

In memory of our dear brother in humanity, brother in Islam, brother in cycling: Ashfaq Mohammed 1971 - 2026.

Each of us who had the privilege of riding with Ashfaq over the years will remember the energy, grit, determination and fun he brought to every ride.

On 7th June we will be riding Ashfaq’s favourite route to Weston Super Mare before returning to the Masjid for Quran reading and prayers.

We ask from the bottom of our hearts that you join us in supporting water well projects for brothers, sisters, and children in desperate need of clean water—something we often overlook.

This will be Sadaqah Jariyah (ongoing charity) for Ashfaq and will give him joy and security in his afterlife, just as he gave us joy and support in this world.

May Allah grant our beloved brother the highest ranks in Jannah, forgive his shortcomings, and allow his legacy of goodness to continue benefiting others for years to come.

May Allah swt reunite us all with our brother, in Jannat ul Firdous.

Ameen Ya Rabbul Alameen
